Terms of Use
Last updated 23 July 2026
Agreement
These terms govern your use of Crimble, a meeting recording and transcription tool, including the desktop app and this website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Your account
You need an account to use Crimble. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Plans and prices
Crimble offers a Personal plan for one person and a Team plan for an organization. Personal costs €39 per month. Team costs €100 per month for five provisioned seats, plus €30 per month for each additional provisioned seat.
The price, billing interval, discounts, trial period, and any taxes that apply are shown before you confirm payment in Stripe Checkout. Taxes may depend on your billing address and tax status. If checkout and this page show different totals, the checkout total is the amount you agree to pay.
We may change plan prices in the future. A price change does not alter a billing period you have already paid for, and we will give any notice required by law before a new price applies to a renewal.
Subscriptions and renewal
Paid plans renew automatically each month until they are canceled. By starting a subscription, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method associated with your billing account for each renewal, applicable taxes, and any immediate prorated seat increase.
A trial starts and ends on the dates shown at checkout. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it becomes a paid monthly subscription and Stripe charges the payment method collected at checkout.
If a payment fails or a subscription is no longer active or trialing, paid actions such as recording, transcription, dictation, voice enrollment, and chat may be unavailable. You can still read the library already associated with your account.
Team plans and seats
A Team owner chooses how many seats to provision, subject to a minimum of five. The organization is billed for every provisioned seat, whether it is filled or unused. A pending, unexpired invitation holds a seat until it is accepted, canceled, rejected, or expires.
Increasing the seat count takes effect immediately. Stripe may charge the prorated difference for the rest of the current billing period, and the next renewal uses the new seat count. Decreasing the seat count also takes effect immediately, but it does not refund any part of the current period. The lower price applies from the next renewal.
Removing a member or canceling an invitation frees capacity but does not automatically lower the provisioned seat count or the bill. A Team owner must lower the seat count separately. The count cannot be lower than the number of seats currently in use.
Team owners and administrators can manage seats, invitations, and membership. A person may belong to only one Team at a time. While you are a Team member, your access is intended to come from that Team and you cannot start a separate Personal plan.
Vouchers and discounts
A voucher may provide a discount or a free trial and may be limited by plan, dates, eligibility, duration, or number of redemptions. The terms shown when the voucher is applied are part of these terms. A voucher has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
A voucher is checked again when checkout starts. If it has expired, been deactivated, reached its redemption limit, or no longer applies, checkout stops so you are not sent to pay a different price without reviewing it.
Cancellation and refunds
You can manage or cancel a subscription from the billing area. Cancellation normally stops automatic renewal at the end of the current billing period. You keep access through the period you have already paid for.
Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds or credits for unused time, seat reductions, removed members, or a decision to stop using Crimble, except where the law requires otherwise.
If a Personal subscriber gains access through a paid Team, the redundant Personal plan may be set to stop renewing. It continues through its current paid period and is not refunded. Other Team members with an existing Personal plan can stop that plan renewing from their billing page.
Canceling a subscription does not delete your account or library. If you own a Team, its subscription must be canceled and its current paid period must end before the Team can be deleted.
Recording responsibly
Crimble records audio, including the voices of other people in your meetings. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, which in many places means informing participants and obtaining their consent before recording.
Only record meetings you are entitled to record, and only process voice data for people in a way they would reasonably expect.
Acceptable use
Do not use Crimble to break the law, infringe others' rights, or record people without the consent the law requires.
Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or to other users' data.
Your content
You keep ownership of the recordings and content you create with Crimble. You grant us the limited rights we need to process, store, and display that content in order to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Service availability
Crimble is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crimble is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits arising from your use of the service. Transcripts and summaries are generated automatically and may contain errors, so do not rely on them as a sole record where accuracy is critical.
Termination
You can stop using Crimble and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, fail to pay amounts due, or use the service in a way that creates risk for us or other users.
Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, including payment obligations, ownership, limitations of liability, and dispute-related terms, continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
